Nobody ever wants to go to an emergency vet. The very idea that you need one is pretty terrifying for most pet owners. That said, this place is the place I will always go to for my pretty emergencies.
Friendly, courteous staff kept us up to date on where we were in the queue, and when Wed finally got to see the vet he was straightforward, professional, and compassionate - everything you can ask for.
Two warnings though:
1) Expect a long wait, especially if your concern isn't life threatening - you will be triaged. Bring something to read, and eat (you're in the middle of nowhere)
2) You will likely see some horrific animal injuries while you're waiting. There will also be alot of crying people. (We sat there for four heartbreaking hours)
