  • I love the Dufferin Grove Farmer's Market! It encompasses all the things a great, community market should. It is located on the northwest corner of the park, right across from Dufferin Mall. In the summer, the farmer's market is based out side of the rink house, around the garden and with in the hallowed out ice rink. In the fall and winter the market is inside the rink house. You will find over 20 vendors from Ontario farms and local businesses selling organic and locally grown produce, breads, dairy and other products. The community aspect is very appealing. Vendors sell warm hot chocolate, coffee and stews in the fall; there is music to listen to, there hands-on crafts and games for kids and the staff there are very friendly and talkative. Even if you aren't there to purchase anything, it is a fun event to check out! Make sure to bring cash with you to purchase the goods. The Dufferin Grove Farmer's Market is open all year round on Thursdays from 3-7 pm.
