  • I changed vets after another local vet incompletely removed a tumor and failed to provide follow up care for my beloved pet. A specialist recommended Dr. Blackwell as an excellent surgeon, so we visited Desert Sky. I have not been sorry that I made the switch. The staff is kind, caring and respectful. We have seen both Dr. Blackwell and Dr. Roe and both were excellent. They were understanding of the fact that I had limited funds, but also wanted to save my dog. They made suggestions and provided me information but never pushed. I felt supported at every turn. After more than a year, my dog finally lost her cancer battle but I am confident that we did everything we could to save her and that she wasn't in pain. The office followed up regularly during her final days and even checked in on my other dog to make sure she was coping. Prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this practice.
