| - My husband being from New York was excited to visit a childhood favorite of his, just a couple of miles from home. Hubby, the kids and I went here at 4:30 after school with high hopes. When we walked in, the shop was empty, and we were greeted by a young man who told us we could sample any flavor. The kids wanted to sample cotton candy, bubblegum and cookie dough , which the young man was helpful with. Everything seemed to be great until the young lady from the back came walking out. The kids were still unsure of what the wanted (ice berg, sundae, etc) and she was getting fed up, rolling her eyes, walked away and was beginning to prepare a sundae. One of the kids decided on a hot fudge brownie sundae and the young man was going to prepare it when the girl loudly said "no! Wait i'm making myself something , go help them with something else". The boy then got my soft serve , and the young lady walked away again, out of sight with an ice cream sundae. Long story short, good ice cream, long wait time. Was a great experience besides the young lady who was bothered by paying costumers.
