  • The Plaza Premium lounge is much better than the Air Canada lounge at Toronto Pearson. You could think it to be pricey, but it offers pretty good value if you've got a long layover or you're early for your flight. If you've got the right American Express card, it's free and a great benefit. The space is spacious, comfortable and clean. Unlike the madhouse at the Air Canada Lounge, even when busy it's still rather manageable at the Plaza Premium lounge. Food options are decent and there is always a hot food option. Again comparing with the AC lounge, it is much better food. Breakfast usually has some form of egg, meat and carb (unlike AC which only provides cold cereal.) The rest of the day also has buffet style hot meal, soup and salad. Oh yeah, there is beer, wine and some liquor as well as snacks like chips, nuts and cookies as well. Whatever you feel like, if you need to eat you'll find something here. Another comparison I'd make is that in general I'd say the food offered here is better than any of the fast food options.
