Holy fuck. 3rd time back, last time ever. Possibly the worst customer service of all time along with a not so great glass selection; don't even have name brand nails.
Story time: purchase nail @ 12:30pm 6-26 / Get home around 2:30, breaks after second use, shattering everywhere and burning a quarter sized hole in my carpet along with burning my dresser. Call same day @ around 3, Shy, "the manager", says "I'm going to call my general manager, I'll call right back." Fine with me. Waiting, I finally call back at 6, nobody answers, telling them I'm unhappy and to call me at the number given.
Fast forward to 11:30am 6-27, walk into the shop, Shy instantly grabs the phone and says "ahhh the nail broke". I explained to her after the second use it was done, and told her I'd like to exchange it for a better nail of a TITANIUM make up. She says "okay, I think it's more expensive though". I tell her how the shop selling me this faulty nail is the cause of my homes destruction. Yes it's just carpet but stick with me.
She proceeds to tell me how it's not the shops fault & I shouldn't be smoking inside my house... shouldn't be smoking inside my house... wtf.
I tell her how the $15 difference isn't really that much when you compare my driving to the shop, my carpet being burned and my dresser being blackened. She repeats saying it's not their fault, she needs to get a manager on the phone.
Manager never answers.
So now I'm sitting in this shop, waiting for this exchange asking her why nobody called me back... she said " I never had your number." Stick with me this is the manager here. I say "I left it in the voicemail." Hand to god she says "oh no lie, I don't even use the voicemail messaging machine, so I wouldn't even know your number"
Baffled, I say, "why do you even have it then?"
"I mean sometimes but most the time I'm super busy. Yesterday was non stop for me."
Which is laughable cause 1st, you reading this review you know how fucking slow this shop is... second, you can actually look up how busy a place of business is using google analytics. She wasn't busy...
Takes max 60 seconds to call me back and update me on the situation. This is the manager folks.
So things are getting heated, she calls her manager, he finally answers, she begins telling him "oh he's saying we destroyed his home, it's all our fault, we owe him this." And I'm thinking, damn, This GM is going to get the wrong impression of me.
Folks all I wanted was a fucking nail...
Back to the story, I ask to talk to him, now the GM, I explain my story and he proceeds to tell me "were not the manufacturer and you need to be careful when using these sort of things.."
At that moment I realized I wasn't going to win.
This guy is here telling me, a dabber of 5 years, that the nail broke because I wasn't careful...
NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A NAIL LEGIT EXPLODE LIKE THIS ONE.
FUCKING EXPLODE. Scary af.
So I say "okay." And then give the phone to Shy.
Shy then says I can't have any money back because I paid by card yesterday and I don't have that card on me... thank god for my girlfriend who remembered we payed cash to her.
Got my money and left..
I will legit drive the extra 20 minutes to Gorilla Radio just to not deal with any of these people ever again.
