  • This store is lucky that they are only opened during the Halloween season. Under the poor management witnessed today, it would definitely be shut down. While in the store (the day before Halloween) I saw only four employees. One girl walking around. One guy in the back staying away. One grumpy manager. And one busy cashier. They had a line that was winding its way to the back of the store and only one cashier helping people. Some of us in line witnessed a person ship lift. When we finally got up to the front where the one cashier was working and the manager was grumpily huffing and puffing and counting money, the lady in line in front of me let them know that they should have someone by the door because she saw someone walk out with merchandise. The manager immediately starts to get upset with the lady demanding why didn't she go get her and so I told the manager that that is not the consumers responsibility . She got upset and walked away to stand by the door and yell at someone on her radio. Then the cashier tried to start lecturing the costumer about how she could've done more. The lady said she didn't want to cause a scene and the cashier continued to lecture her and tell her stuff and put the blame on her. So I intervened and told the woman not to let them make her feel guilty. And she said she was trying to help out. The cashier shook his head and I told the lady not to worry and that she shouldn't feel bad because it is not her job there to worry about their costumers. After that the cashier backed down. They were clearly understaffed and over worked. Bad management and poor costumer service all around. The manager was even pissing off her own employees. We came to this location hoping it would be a nicer location but that proved to be wrong. Hopefully next year they choose different management and a better more involved team. I couldn't believe that they got upset with the costumer on something that is their own fault. Just rude!
