| - Shibuya Izakaya is close to where we live, so we thought we'd check it out. We walked in and were greeted by our server and off in the distance was an older woman who greeted us with a bow, how lovely! We then ordered 5 rolls of sushi, California, Dynamite, Ahi Tuna, Yam, and Unagi. They came out within a reasonable amount of time, but the R&B/Top 40 type of music threw off the whole authenticity, not to mention the Tabasco on the table as well (can anyone tell me why that's a staple in a Japanese restaurant?). The sushi was pretty good, I'm no sushi connoisseur but I feel like I've had better.
But overall I'm not complaining, as we only paid $30 including tip for everything, which is undeniably reasonable.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap and freshly made sushi fix, but I'm personally going to stick where I've been most satisfied.
