  • The car buying process was great. So this is about their optional extended warranty First, I bought the car with two recalls. So that caused me to leave my car in the dealership for a couple of days. Second, Carmax extended warranty is BS. If they don't have the skillset to fix something, they will send you to the dealership. So because the dealership is fixing something instead of them, I have to pay the 50$ deductible. Also, if it's software and not hardware, I have to pay everything. I should be punished because they lack the skill set to do a repair. Get more people who can diagnose things!
