Everyone is aware that Scottsdale is an upscale town with money to burn. My wife and I love looking for places where the tourists don't go to and the locals eat great food. Juilo's Too fits the bill. I always check out Yelp reviews to see what people have to say about a place I might go to . I was in the mood for tamales. A fellow Yelper said he had been coming to Julio's for the past 25 years for the Green Chile Tamales. I order the 3 item combo getting 2 Green Chile Tamales and one Red Beef Tamale. With a container of black beans and some rice the huge plate of food was not what I expected. I The Red Beef Tamale was very good but like the fellow Yelper said the star of my dish was the Green Chile Tamale. All 3 tamales were huge. The Red Beef Tamale had a very nice Ranchero sauce. All of the tamales were smothered with cheese. My wife had a 2 item combo with a Black Bean Burrito and the Spinach Enchilada. Both dish were packed with so much food we didn't even eat a quarter of the great chips and salsa that comes before the meal. They have all day $2.50 margaritas which were nice. We had leftover galore. For under $35 we ate like royalty. Service was informative and very friendly. We definitely found a gem of a Mexican restaurant that is not fancy but has great food. As Dark Vader says" I'LL BE BACK".
