  • The location is perfect for those who like Downtown. We have stayed here many many times. Almost too many to count. We've stayed in all 3 towers over the years. We prefer the Gold Tower. We've stayed in regular rooms and we've stayed in suites. The first suite we ever stayed in was awesome so we opted for a suite the next time. It was quite different, not nearly as nice and quite disappointing. We gamble here quite often, we have players cards etc. Not once were we ever offered a "perk". We recently signed up for the players card at the Fremont and we have already been offered free rooms. We've stayed at several places downtown. We have never stayed at the Fremont but we are going to give it a shot. We just don't feel appreciated by The Golden Nugget.
