For places like Baskin-Robbins, the product is the product. So you basically know what you're getting, a whisper back to my childhood when I would beg and plead with my parents to take me there.
Now with my own child I try to do the same but instead of the happy lady behind the counter waiting to help us, we find a group of rude teenage girls with attitude.
We used to frequent this location more often with my son, but service has plummeted faster than the ice cream melts in the Summer. On our most recent and probably last visit, we came prepared with a BOGO coupon, and asked the girl employee if we could use it. To which we received a solid thumbs up, so we ordered 2. When it came time to pay the girl then told us that we couldn't use the BOGO coupon we had literally just asked her about (but we could totally save it for the next time we came in).
After a short period of talking to a wall about the coupon, we decided that we no longer needed the ice cream.
On our way out, the girl loudly announced to the rest of the patrons that "These people don't want to pay for their ice cream so who wants free Sundaes?"
I would stay away unless you like to be insulted by teenage girls, I thought I ended that in high school!
