This is my second time coming here, and the first time was so so. It was a couple's massage and my husband got a deep tissue, I got the Swedish. My massage was decent but I didn't feel that she spent equal times on all areas (mostly back, neck, and shoulders). But for the price it was decent.
Second trip there I didn't get the name of the person I saw but I had asked for a deep tissue due to some lower back pain when the appointment was made but when I told the LMT this she said ok I'll see what I can do which was odd to me but okay.
During the massage the majority of the massage was on the left side of my back with a brief time spent on the right side at no time was I in pain which is unusual for a deep tissue, and especially since my back was in pain already. Then without warning she lifted my head up and laid me back down on a very hot wet washcloth. In a room that is already too warm, that was uncomfortable. A little time was spent on my neck and shoulders then the timer went off and she walked out just saying ok your session is over.
I had a hard time getting up off of the table and wasn't offered any assistance. I walked out to the reception area where there was a bottle of water at the desk. I paid, and asked the receptionist if the water was for me, which it was. Never saw the LMT after she had walked out of the room.
Prices are comparable to that of a regular spa but for a shopping center you'd think they'd treat their customers a little differently and keep them coming back. Considering I drove 45 minutes to this place I think I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to return to Madison Avenue Day Spa at Chandler Mall where you leave feeling pampered and relaxed upon leaving. I won't be returning here.
