| - I had a lovely time at Herbs and Rye ! Our server Joe, from Massachusetts, was super helpful and hospitable from beginning to end. He even gave us a list of recommendations for strip clubs, where to get the best chicken fingers and of course other top notch restaurants.
A group of 9 celebrating a friend's bachelorette party in Vegas enjoyed every bit of our experience here. My cocktail of choice to start was the French 75 which was absolutely delightful! I have a thing for drinks with champagne. The clear favorite and most popular were the Ramos Gin Fizz that looked like a Pina colada from a far.
The apps included two sets of their spicy meatballs - these bad boys were very well seasoned and oversized, bruschetta caprese with mozzarella and an eggs and bacon flatbread pizza.
Family style seemed to be most appropriate to share and get a great sampling of what the menu had to offer.
We had the 60oz King Kong Rib-eye which comes with 3 sides along with a NY strip and the Filet Mignon. At first, I was like we are not going to finish this but we definitely handled it.
The 3 sides we choose to accompany the Rib eye were the truffle mac and cheese, spinach, and truffle fries. The sides were much smaller than I think most of us expected but there was enough to go around.
For dessert, we, of course, enjoyed their complimentary beignets as a celebratory treat for the bachelorette! And to top it off we each took a shot of Fernet!
Great experience and we definitely paid for it as it was not cheap! Well, I guess when in a Vegas, you gotta live it up!!
