So I stayed here in one of the furnished bungalows for just over a month during a period of transition for my family. As it turned out I actually was here alone while my husband moved on to our next destination ahead of me. The location is actually pretty great because you are near the awesome parts of down town and great bars and restaurants but you aren't paying the outlandish price. The community is gated and I felt safe by myself at all times. They are extremely pet friendly but you still have to keep the dog on a leash at all times.
I have lived in a lot of apartments in my time in multiple states and several in the Phoenix area. I have to say that I am so impressed with how friendly every one is. One of my biggest gripes about this city is that it is so hard to meet people. Well I have met and spoken with at least 20 different people that were all very friendly and welcoming. I was even invited to one residents son's birthday party. Aside from the residents the staff is also exception with regards to their welcoming and accommodations. Everyone was very willing to work with me and be flexible about my move out date. I was always greeted with a smile and spoken to like they had known me for a lot longer than a few weeks.
While it is an older complex you can tell they work to keep it clean and take care of repairs. I never had any problems within my apartment and everything was ready for me as they had promised. The only suggestion that I would make that selfishly would have made my life easier was an area where I could let me dog run. But honestly, Indian Steele dog park is great and is super close, I'm just lazy.
