  • This was the WORST show I have ever been to in my entire life. I have been to 85% of all cirque du soleil shows, and this one was by far the most waste of time and money. I don't know what everyone is raving about for this "Beetles- Love" show, but all I can say is that if you enjoy elementary school or high school plays, and enjoy watching people walking across the stage, stomping their feet, then this show is good for you. We were a party of 4 people attending this show, the past Saturday night, and 2 of the people with me got up halfway through the show and walked out. It was that boring and that bad of a show. I swear I would have walked out too, but I kept telling myself, "it will get better, it will get better." NOPE. It did NOT get any better. I was so shocked. If I had no shame, I probably would have booed the performers midway through as well. The performers DO NOT do any acrobatics, or anything amazing on stage. All you see is a bunch actors on stage at various times, in costume, running around, and spinning to the Beetles music. Here and there they would pull out props, rolling though the stage from one end to the other. . . so ridiculous, and it didn't even add anything to the show. I did not pay $200 to go watch others dance to music and jump around. It was so unbelievably stupid that words cannot describe what I am saying. They would have people sitting on rings, floating in the sky, and you would wait and expect them to do a trick, or hang from the ring, or spin around or do something, But NOOOOO, they just sat there floating like a statue. It was such boring acting and childish performing. I truly felt like I was watching a high school play, but at least at the high school play you don't have the "cirque du soleil" expectations. The music was nice, but the performance was really unprofessional and had not a single special act in it that was enjoyable. I think walking on the las vegas strip and watching the Bellagio and Treasure Island shows would have been more worthwhile than this. Don't get discouraged though, The Cirque Du Soleil Beetles Love was HORRIBLE, but their "O" show and La Reve, and Mystere are a whole lot better, worth the money and much more professional and enjoyable.
