| - A great shopping experience!!
I know that Whole Foods has a reputation for being expensive but I think you really have to look for the value. This is not an everyday items grocery store but it's a great, convenient option that happens to be across the street from my house. I really love browsing the aisles for interesting items that aren't in regular grocery stores, they also have a great selection of natural skincare, shower products, vitamins and supplements, and even some clothing. Some highlights are the bakery, the cheese counter and the ready-made foods. I know the ready made foods will cost you if you start piling the food up but it always looks piping hot, fresh and clean. There are also some really yummy sounding options, from Mac and cheese to Indian inspired dishes, there's something for everyone.
I particularly like the restaurant/cafe that's located inside the store. I've eaten there many times and to my surprise, there are lots of options that'll run you no more than $10 for a full meal. The food is made to order and I've been pretty pleased with the taste and freshness. The cafe is also great, pricing is comparable to Starbucks, if not a bit cheaper.
I always get an eye roll when I tell people I buy things at Whole Foods but really if you look for the deals, you can end up with some really great stuff sometimes for less or not much more than a regular grocery store.
