We lived here about 36 months. The only reason this place even gets two stars is because while under my first contract with Camden commons we had a decent experience in the community. About two weeks after we resigned the apartments were sold and became just the commons. The office staff was rude. Always made it seem like you were interrupting their day by calling or asking questions. Put a work order in because our fridges motor smelled like it was burning. The maintenance man left a note he "turned down the temperature" which totally did not help. And for the remainder of our stay it smelled like burnt oil. They did work on the pipes and the repair guy broke our tooth brush holder and left it without saying anything (I didn't even call to complain over a 5 dollar holder, the point is it was rude not to say sorry for the accident). By the last 6 months our apartment started to smell like cigarette smoke from other units seeping in and we'd get woken up by people fighting by our window. Complex went totally down hill. When we turned our keys in they couldn't find our deposit since we transferred from a different Camden location and told us they'd have to charge us a deposit. There are way better apartments in the area and I wish I would've listened instead of resigning the second time.
