If I only was allowed to eat one meal for the rest of my life, it would definitely be their Bronzed Shrimp and Gouda Grits with andouille sausage and mushroom ragout. I'm not even lying, those grits alone are the stuff of legend! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and a super cute place for date night or brunch.....aside from the bizarre experience we had on Easter Sunday, where we legitimately had to wait 20 minutes (yes, I timed it) to receive so much as a glass of water and another 10 minutes to order because only 1 poor very pregnant waitress was literally taking the orders for half of the restaurant while a million bus boys and other staff literally wandered around the dining room. I actually had to flag down one of the bus boys just to get us glasses of ice water and ask if we could please order our food. Eventually, the food did finally come and I was able to eat my grits and be happy again. This was by NO means the poor waitress's fault and she apologized all over herself and was incredibly sweet. She even took the chicory coffee off of our bill because, for the first time ever, it was actually horribly bitter. Usually, it's delicious. I have no idea what happened that afternoon with the bizarrely slow service and gross coffee, but every other time has been so excellent that I will not hesitate to return. I need my grits fix every few months! And don't hesitate to order their bananas Foster bread pudding!
