  • I think Zarkana is a good solid show. There were really cool acts, extensive backdrops that filled the entire theater, and amazing acrobatics. This show is very serene and each act flows within itself. However, the acts did not flow with one another. I think it's because I saw ka first, I was really pulled in by the storyline... And each act connected with each other. Zarkana seems to me very choppy and disconnected. There was no real theme, no real stories, no real characters. There were clowns that came on in between scenes but there was no point for them... Only as a distraction while the curtain closes for the next act to set up. I didn't really like the clowns and thought that they were just fillers. There were several acts that I really liked. My favorite is the lady who draws pictures with sand and her fingers. I've never seen anything like that before. I thought that was fantastic. Each act was pretty great. The performers are very talented and have amazing skills. I also like the one with the two girls in the floating hoops. They were completely synchronized and the act was like a beautiful dance. I just wished Zarkana had more of a storyline like ka and the acts connected to one another instead of being just abrupt changes. Also the clowns, though they were very good at their job, was not impressive.
