  • I was given a $50 gift certificate to the Dove spa when I was buying a gift for a friend, so I thought I'd try it out. I went in for a Brazilian wax, and I'm disappointed to say it's the worst I've had in a while. Despite being instructed to hold, stretch, and move around in ways that were embarrassing and uncomfortable, the esthetician missed quite a bit of hair. Also, I was waxed yesterday, and I'm STILL red and sore. I've been waxed numerous times before, and I've never reacted like this. The spa was extremely clean, and the esthetician was very professional and personable. But I definitely won't be going back.
