I am normally a patient of Dr. Parkers who is the other doctor in this practice, but he was really backed up and I saw Dr. George instead. My infant daughter had been really fussy and started crying (again) while I waited for him. I thought she had colic because every night she just screamed until being put to bed for the first month (I was there for her one month appointment). I broke down in tears in the waiting room and when he came in, he immediately said "Oh my gosh, what's the matter mommy? It's ok, tell me what's going on". He instantly made me feel better. I explained what had been going on and BAM diagnosed her as lactose intolerant. Couldn't believe it was something that simple, but it was. He said "let me get you some samples" and brought in this one type of Similac formula. It was the ready to pour jugs they sell at places like Target for $10 a piece, and he brought me 3! That was far more than just a sample! He told me to email him in a couple days to see if the formula helped and it did. Him being able to hear a couple symptoms and look at her (she had eczema due to the lactose) and instantly diagnose her saved my sanity. He comforted me and told me that I was doing a good job, that it was going to be OK, and to use that immediately. And it worked, that was indeed the issue. I cannot thank him enough for this diagnosis, and for being so kind to a new mom whom he'd never met who was hysterical. I can't say enough about good things about this practice!
