  • 5/1/2018 Stopped in for breakfast/early lunch. The place was clean, cheerful, and homey. We were seated immediately and given menus and our drink order was taken. I ordered the breakfast Chicken Fried Steak with 2 eggs, gravy, potatoes, English muffins, and coffee ($12). My guest had 1 biscuit, gravy, potatoes, bacon, and coffee. Our orders came out in a reasonable time and our server made sure our coffee and drinks were refilled when needed. My guest enjoyed her meal while I felt the gravy could have had a little more flavor and my Steak, while cooked properly, looked as if it had a little freezer burn on the edge. All the dishes coming from the kitchen looked appetizing and the customers seemed happy. The restaurant had some "oldies" playing and there was a good atmosphere in the place, even as it got busier as we ate. I would recommend giving this place a try.
