  • Unfortunately I moved out of state and can no longer see Donna Rikje, the goddess of hair and eyebrows and the BEST stylist/brow guru in the universe. I went to Donna for 4 years while I lived in Phoenix and followed her from her previous salon. Donna has an eye for shape. She sees things differently than normal people, the woman has a gift. She was then able to teach me what she saw. For example, I have a round face so she explained why long hair is more becoming on me as well as how open neck lines work better than crew necks and that long straight earrings look better on me than long round earrings. She also taught me how to use product in my hair so that it worked. As for brows, I do believe she was once given the name of "Best Brows in Phoenix" from a local magazine. Again, she explained what shape I should go for and would tell me where I over-tweezed and would have me grow parts out. I could go on and on. I have referred at least 4 friends to her and hope to see her again in the future. It would be worth taking a vacation to Phoenix just to have a cut and brows done by Donna. I have never had such an amazing stylist in the past and sadly don't know if I will ever have one like her again in the future.
