It was a little confusing to find RF parking lot entrance but glad we did. I was checking Yelp for a good place to take my hubs for dinner on his birthday. We strolled around downtown Scottsdale in the afternoon, checking art galleries and wine rooms and Roaring Fork turned out better than I expected.
We were able to grab the last patio table available for happy hour. Though it was hot outside, the patio faces east and is well shaded with fans, misters and plants. Beautiful patio. Intimate but spacious. Brandon was our server. We arrived at 5:45pm and happily surprised that Happy hour was until 7pm.
We shared the Queso con Puerco. A bit spicy but perfectly paired with the happy hour mojitos. This queso dish comes topped with pork and green chilies, served with corn chips.
What drew my attention to this restaurant was the pork tenderloin dish, on grits, topped with street corn. I knew my husband would love it and it didn't disappoint. Our visit was coming an end, otherwise, we would have brought family back here for happy hour or dinner.
Great for special occasion, date night or simply a fine dining experience. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
