Came by on a weekday late evening and was pretty surprised (and content) that there were still lemon meringue croissants and matcha cake slices left. Nonetheless, I picked up one of each. Note that the store itself doesn't have seating and is pretty narrow, so it's a grab-and-go type of store. The prices are on the higher end of pastries, but given that the same people as Butter Avenue are behind them, it's not that surprising. The croissant was flaky and flavour was definitely different from the average croissant, but I wouldn't say it justified the price point. The meringue was fluffy and the lemon paste inside was a nice difference in taste, but not exceedingly special. Cake was moist and nicely layered, but again, but that special, and likely wouldn't come back for either the cake or the croissant. I'd recommend it to give it a try, but it's not likely somewhere I'd return often.
