  • We currently rent a house from Progress and unfortunately ran into a few issues with bad service in regards to false promises. We were advised the hot tub located at the house would be ready to go upon move in - that was a lie. It's now two weeks into being into the house and we are making plans to come out to have a company come out and drain it because they couldn't be relied upon to put the proper amount of chemicals in the water - rendering the current water unsafe. The hot tub is "included" in our rent, which makes it convenient for them to charge for it, but not convenient to actually have it up and running. I requested a discount off of my monthly rent for one month and was declined. I have interacted with a few members of their team. The one that i have corresponded with the most is very reliable and communicates effectively thus far. The person we did a home inspection with, Bill, was very nice and courteous. We moved in on May 6th - yet were emailed 3 separate HOA violations from April 6th. That was an ordeal that we haven't gotten solved. Overall - I have experienced better. The good thing is - this is a one year thing for us and once we get the kinks out, we can pay our rent and know not to rent from them again. We like the house, but the service aspect of this company is just not there. That is a shame because they told me that was one of their focuses. That's ok. We emailed to get the information for the HOA from another member of their team and haven't heard back. I finally did some google research and located the HOA - but haven't heard back from them. ***update - we finished our two year lease with Progress and to make a long story short, they have serious turnover issues within their company. You never talk to the same person twice. Their customer service is spotty and they offer to extend your lease at a very progressive rate schedule. They do not back their properties with service, nor do they uphold their end of the lease and maintenance. DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS. Seriously... DONT DO IT.
