Last week the 'turtle' light (and just about every other warning light) came on in my 2002 Prius. I googled the issue and there was some evidence that it could be related to extreme heat (our temps were 115 plus). To be on the safe side, I called Right Toyota and they said I should bring it in. I was told there would be $125 diagnostic charge and if there was something that needed to be fixed, the $125 would be put towards the repair bill. Well, my 15 year old "baby" checked out fine much to my delight. When I went to pick up the car, John in the service dept. said the $125 diagnostic fee was waived because it was known issue with the older Prius models. How often does a dealer service dept. miss an opportunity to either sell you a new car or rack up the charges? Having worked in the industry a couple of decades ago, I can tell you "Not many"! So Right Toyota would get 10 stars if they were available. Honest, trustworthy and got the job done quickly! If (when) my Prius eventually passes over the car rainbow bridge, Right will be my first stop for another vehicle!
