  • *Started this review on 8/8/2016 and just now posting on 3/22/2107 - *sigh* I'll get my life together someday. Anyway, La Distillerie is definitely a great place to start the night in Montreal. Service was outstanding from both the cool doorman and our waiter. This place has a young, hip vibe and the menu & drinks are all so enticing. I enjoyed the watermelon something (oh my it was so long ago I can barely recall) but it wasn't artificially sweet and was nice & smooth. The place is dim and the line outside gets quite long but I'd say it was about a 25 min wait on a Friday night around 1030pm. The menu was categorized by drink type ( sweet, spicy, etc.) which I thought was fun and questions were so very welcomed by our waiter. I also remember munching on Goldfish crackers.... Ugh, I miss Montreal. Be back soon!
