| - Horrible accountant! Run, FAST if you are considering using this "firm". I do not even know where to begin. Used this firm for a few years with multiple businesses. After we started receiving multiple IRS complaints, started looking more closely at why we were still using him. Christian claims to give you all sorts of services/advice but does not. I had to ask to get things changed to save me on taxes owed. He messed up 1 of my tax filings costing me $3500 in extra taxes!!!! When I questioned him about it before filing he said I could just check a different box on my taxes and wouldn't have to pay them. WRONG and now that he didn't fix it before filing, I'm out $3500!
On top of that, he lied to me 3 different times about it while asking him the status on fixing it. 3 different stories about what happened. Finally I called the IRS myself and found out NONE of the 3 stories he told me were true.
Do yourself a favor and find a CPA. He isn't one. Although his company name would lead you to believe he is. It's actually not even allowed for a CPA to use that firm name, without having additional full-time CPA on staff. He isn't one and doesn't have one. In fact his company isn't even legit because he bounced the check to the AZ Corp Commission almost 5 years ago. Go ahead and check the site, it is in the public records.
Then when I moved to a new accountant, he REFUSED to release the QuickBooks file, claiming it was his property. I spoke to the AZ Board of Accountancy and they said he is required to cough it up. He still refused and said to sue him. Unfortunately since he isn't a CPA the AZ Board of Accountancy will not assist. Well I'll do you one better Mr Culpepper, I'll make sure everyone that looks you up knows how horrible your service is!
I could go on even more, but the above should be more than enough to cause you to run for a different accountant. Please do, it will save you money, even if they cost you 2x more than he charges.
