Full Spectrum was a nice surprise at the end of a long day. This brewery was on the way home after a brew tour in Columbia and had some of the best beer we'd had all day. I would almost consider it a Charlotte Suburban Brewery, as it is pretty close.
Located in an industrial area near the ginormous Shutterfly facility, the taproom is very, very bright - almost too bright. That may be the only negative thing I have to say ... at all. There are plenty of tables, tvs, a pool table and cornhole out front.
Flights are served in 4's - but you can try all eight if you want; basically $2 per sample. The Lite Sky Blue really lived up to its name - light and refreshing. The Light Gold Ale was a bit more full bodied and second best for me. The Infrared IPA was my favorite- smooth, a little fruity from the Citra but not too hop forward - I think even non IPA drinkers would like this one. I got to try some Ultraviolet IPA fresh from the tank - beautiful caramel color and taste, followed by a high gravity wallop.
Free snacks and really nice owners running the place. These guys are off to a great start!!
