I don't understand how anyone can give less than 5 stats based off the food alone! But include the service and I'm at a 6.5 (if there were such a thing). So my mom, grandma, and I were late for our 6:15 reso. I made the reso via open table letting them know it was my moms birthday and we'd like a table in the tree house. Even though we were late(double your travel time if its raining) they honored our table request!
We started with 2 lemon drop martinis and a glass of white zin. The lemon martinis are no joke. The lemon flavor is PERFECT. Our sever Brandon(I think) explained that they infuse vodka with lemons to make the martinis. For apps we had bone marrow which was served with an arugula salad dressed with capers and escargot served with puff pastry. Both were PHENOMENAL. My 89 yo grandma killed the bone marrow!
For our meal we shared sea scallops, ribeye, alaskan king crab black truffle gnocchi, creamed corn, and mashed sweet potatoes. Everything was FANTASTIC!! The scallops were served in a garlic butter sauce with tomato and parm. I could have licked the bowl they were served in! Because we shared the ribeye it was sliced for us and we were supplied with tongs to serve ourselves(after the initial serving the manager and server helped serve). I loved how they served us our food!
You need to get the gnocchi. It is AMAZING. The creamed corn was fantastic too. Our service was fantastic. We ordered sparkling wine and our flutes were never empty. Timing of the courses was great. We finished our meal with chocolate layer cake and butter cake. Both were oh the house because it was my moms bday and because we're locals. I didn't care for the chocolate cake but the butter cake was good!! For all the items above including tax and 20+% tip we spent $140 per person. Pretty hefty but well worth it!
