  • Went here for dinner with my girlfriends when we first got to Vegas. I've been to Spago in Caesar's before, and thought it was very similar. I was really looking forward to their pizza since I loved the pizza both at Spago and at Wolfgang Puck Express, and while it was good here, it didn't seem as good as what I've had before...I think the crust could have been a little thinner and more crunchy. All 3 of us were starving though so we practically inhaled the pizza anyway. For main course, I got the burger, which was excellent and perfectly juicy...I only wish I hadn't filled up too much on their pizza since this was so much better. The fries were perfectly fried, and crispy just the way I like it. I was already way stuffed but I kept picking at the fries towards the end of the meal. Probably my largest criticism here is that their wines by the glass really sucked. I gotta admit that I'm a little picky when it comes to wines, but for a "nice" restaurant like this, I thought that I would at least get something that didn't make me grimace when I drank it. I got the pinot with the pizza, which was bleah and a little vinegary to me (maybe it had been open for a while?), then got a malbec with my burger which was a little better but still meh. I got several $10-$20 bottles at home that taste better than this stuff. One thing I really liked though was the location. You had that pseudo-outdoor feel with the fake sky and all, kind of reminded me of those restaurants in italy with the outdoor tables. Of course in this case, you're in a mall, but it was nice nonetheless, and we got to people-watch as we ate dinner (always a fun thing to do in Vegas). Boo for them though for not giving me the 1000 points for the opentable reservation when I booked it on my iphone (it was 1000 points when I looked it up on my pc earlier). At least we had a 25% off coupon that came with our room at the Venetian, so our whole dinner wound up being pretty reasonable (for Vegas). All in all, don't really regret going here, since we had a discount and they took reservations at the last minute, but don't know if I would actually seek out this place again given that there are so many great restaurants in Vegas.
