  • I tried The Halal Guys for the first time in NYC and fell in love with the food so I was ecstatic to hear they were coming to Tempe, and just a few miles from my house! I finally went in for lunch on Tuesday and got a small combo (gyro & chicken) platter and it was definitely reminiscent of the food cart in New York, although it was lacking a little flavor. Not a problem for me though, I just add some extra white sauce and a tiny bit of red sauce (be careful, the red sauce is no joke) and all is good!
