  • I really want to be a fan of Canadian tire... but this store (this one in particular) lets me down time and time again. I gave the a 1 year hiatus in hopes that if and when I ever returned that things would improve... well they haven't. The incredibly sleepy guy in the auto parts department sold me the wrong product even after checking it against my year/make/model vehicle. Although the product was unused and still in the package they wouldn't take it back (even for an in store credit) without the receipt. I bought it two days ago (December 24) and am now going to have to go through all of my xmas receipts just to go back and get the actual product that fits my vehicle. The manager is a useless waste of skin who just shrugged and said "it is what it is man". Their customer service is lacking at best, and their product knowledge is horrible. If I could give this zero stars I would. I need to buy a couple of hundred dollars worth of products for my truck, and I feel like I have no option but to go to their competition. I really want this place to be better than it is. Location is very handy but their hiring practices are obviously broken. It must be an issue from the top down as the management seems lacking of anything even remotely helpful.
