  • I like this place because of the cool factor. There's neon lighting, they take your order on one side and serve you on the opposite side, and of course the creme brulee cappuccino! However, there's no prices listed for the wholesale drinks in the fridge, there's no seating, and I found the people who worked there to be less than friendly (more of a too cool for school attitude prevalent here). You can walk through the cafe into the seating that's actually part of Brain Station (of course in the evenings, when there's classes in there, you won't be sitting anywhere). There's no washroom here either (again, it is part of Brain Station). I like the concept of this place, but I think it would be much more sensible for there to be a washroom that is actually between the coffee shop and Brain Station's rooms. It would also be nice if there was more than just 3 bar stools by the window. It would take away from that minimal feel this place has going, but frankly, the minimalism is not functional in this setting. I hope they make some much needed changes, because that creme brulee cappuccino is not a drink you can take to go and I'd like to actually be able to sit down somewhere to enjoy it properly!
