  • The store is great, the prices are great and the ammo section is about as good as it gets. But I've had two major issues with one single transaction I've made at this store that has put such a bad taste in my mouth I won't be returning. Several months ago I bought a Sig Sauer P320c handgun from the gun counter. The clerk was a nice guy but upon returning home and several days passing, they called me asking to come back to the store because I had incorrectly written the date on the buyer form. Okay... kind of a weird mistake to overlook when selling a firearm, I admit that its my fault but I was bothered about this non stop even though I was traveling and out of town for business. They sold the firearm, its their responsibility to make sure its sold effectively. Finally I had to take time out of my day to sign and return an e-mailed version of this document to get them off my back. Not really a big deal, more annoying than anything. But this is what sent me over the edge: The icing on the cake was the pistol I bought was the pre-safety recall version of the pistol. The pistol I bought had issues with drop safety. In other words, the pistol can fire when its dropped in certain conditions. This completely infuriated me. I knew this pistol had this issue in the past, and asked several times if this was the fixed version of the pistol. I asked that sales clerk not once or twice but three separate times during the sales transaction if this was the pistol version that was already fixed post recall to which he answered YES every single time. If I were able to do so I would have promptly returned the firearm, but instead its on its way to the Sig Sauer factory to get fixed- more wasting of my own time. Totally let down. It's my own fault for taking his word and not researching the minute details so I could tell he was simply lieing to my face myself. I won't be returning. Do not give people information if you don't know. Just say you don't know.
