  • I recently relocated to Charlotte from Columbia, SC. Harris Teeter is okay, but I have to say I am really missing shopping in Publix. Every time I went there I felt welcomed and appreciated. The employees not only go out of their way to greet shoppers, but personally take you to any item you may be struggling to find. AND, you normally don't even have to ask for help... they seem to have sonar! I live in Uptown and walk to the 6th Street Harris Teeter location most often; but since their selection is limited, I go to the East Blvd location when I need to do a bigger shopping trip. I have been disappointed that every trip i have made there, three or four items on my list have been unavailable; either out of stock, or not carried. Getting assistance seems to be difficult as well. Last visit, with two different items, at two different areas of the store, I was passed off to several different people when I asked for help. I had to go back to Columbia for an event recently and was elated to have the opportunity to go back to Publix.
