  • Lupes is an acquired taste, not the food but the ambiance. My wife and I bring our two kids quite often. We love the atmosphere, especially when we can grab a booth by the front window and watch the world go by. The food is pretty good, I suggest always ordering the daily special. I dig their meatloaf, the crab cakes, and the baked chicken. My wife often gets a veggie plate and orders from the sides. Speaking of sides, Mac N Cheese and their green beans are awesome. The last star is deducted because their breads are usually not great, cornbread is always too dry. Dessert, do yourself a favor and order the Kuchen or Banana Pudding!
