I went to Nevada Coin Mart today to sell some sterling silver medals. I did my homework prior and called them and other dealers around town getting quotes. Their range was in line with everyone else but I went in a little skeptical since I had never sold anything like this before.
First off, everyone I encountered was very courteous and seemed to treat the other customers well. When I sat with the coin appraiser I had a dollar per ounce number that I wouldn't go below and was ready for battle.
After he evaluated my medals he actually came back at the highest end of the range they quoted over the phone. No haggling, no hassle, and an overall pleasant experience.
I would highly recommend Nevada Coin but do yourself a favor and educate yourself about what you actually have first.
