I was on a eating mission today. This hidden gem used to be a gift store and now they have replaced it by an authentic Japanese hand made Daifuku shop. It is a relatively small cosy cafe with two tables, but it is more for take out. They offer 7 different flavours (posted photo up) and very reasonably price for fresh hand made Daifuku $2.5 plus tax. I've ordered the Sakura and matcha flavour and I as I am typing this, I just finished the Sakura one and fell in love with it. The wrap was not thick, it was soft and "just right" a good balance with the red bean. This definitely go well with a cup of tea, they serve Sloane tea. This is Sasaki Fine Pastry second location, the first one is located inside J-town. Our neighbourhood is definitely very lucky to have this new hidden gem. The service was very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend it give this a try as according to my memory, we don't have any authentic Daifuku stores in Toronto
