  • Yelp is censoring the reviews for this company. Shame on yelp, you have lost my trust in your reviews. I had a first-hand experience with this company and my review that was years old was thrown out recently. If you notice the reviews shown are only recent ones with not as bad ratings as the ones that have been censored. I'm trying to keep yelp honest with trying to repost my review to help others from being ripped off by this company. These people quoted a really good price. We live on the other side of town but decided to go with them due to the price. After two weeks of waiting for the work to be done, they quoted 5-7 days. My husband calls and they didn't even start the work on his car yet, they said they had a bunch waiting in front of his... that was nice they called to let us know that I thought. At this time they said they will have it done in the next couple of days. Well they called the next day and said he needed $1100 of work done on other parts not related to the engine they were putting in or their "warranty" would not be guaranteed. So we were very upset, because a lot of the items were recently already replaced. Finally with a lot of hesitation, and a bad gut feeling my husband said OK. They sent someone from the shop to pick up a check for that amount. Two days later they said my husband must pick up the car today or they will start charging him $25 a day storage.This was on a Friday and my husband was at work. So he goes there on his lunch break to pick up the car, and the guy had given him another bill that shows he owes and additional $1700 above what he already paid for the engine and the extra work that he already paid for. They had several receipts that still don't make sense... They wouldn't release the car until he paid for the full amount... He and I were pissed!!! He got his car back, it's working but the check engine light came on after only 150 miles.. oh and they said for the warranty to be good you have to take it in after 500 miles for a checkup for a $90 fee... Long story short, we will be going to court. We looked up on a lot of different websites after this and this company has numerous complaints with the same stuff that was happening to us... Don't go here for anything... Also customer service is a joke, they were very rude, and I think wanted to keep our car.
