Love. Love. Love this place! Like it's my new favorite. My uncle wanted to try something new for his birthday so we headed to Quintana's Saturday evening. They execute the speakeasy concept flawlessly and even have a "secret entryway". The bar itself is very intimate (I think the max occupancy is like 30?) and quaint. The decor, dim lighting and soft music in the background definitely set the tone. The bar staff is super friendly and helpful. Kevin is amazing!! He got SWAMPED at one point during the evening and handled it flawlessly. He even made my sister and my brother's girlfriend personalized drinks. I had the Mexican G&T which I loved and a drink called The Last Word. It's not on the menu but my cousin, who is a bartender, recommended it and it was delish...very strong though! I had two and definitely felt it the next day. The bar has a garden so all of the garnishes for the drinks are freshly picked each day which I love! I also believe that the veggies for some of the food items come from the garden as well.
Only downfall is that there aren't too many food options and the portions are very small. There were four items to choose from when we were there. I ordered the bruschetta and my cousin ordered the vegetable skewers. My bruschetta was good but again, very small portion for $12 and not enough to share with the group. On the plus side, Kevin comped the bruschetta due to our extremely long wait for it.
I HIGHLY recommend this place and can't wait to head back soon!
