  • Lifelong Reds fan and excited when they moved Spring Training to Arizona! We have been attending spring training games in Goodyear every year. It's a nice ballpark, just the right size for the fans. Still only $9 for a Berm (lawn) seat, cheaper when the Reds play the Indians, but it's hot out there! $25 for a seat behind the dugouts. There are spring training facilities out here charging $$$ for lawn seats ! Overall, doesn't matter to me that they charge $5.00 for parking. Free would be better, but it is what it is! What is TERRIBLE is the food. They obviously changed their companies this year, and it's not an improvement ! At a recent game, stood in line for 15 minutes for a Soda at Good Hops, located in main concourse behind home plate. We noticed it was different this year; it's changed to serve more alcohol than food. We get to the front and be told 'we're out of soda'! They let lots of people stand there for a long time - they could have put up a sign to be helpful? They direct us to the next food service venue, Queen City Grill! Now everyone had to go there if they wanted a soda on this hot day . We stood in line for 20 more minutes (1st inning). They were unprepared for the crowed, the service was crazy slow and inattentive. In the middle of placing my order, another server walked up and started a conversation with the person taking my order ! They finally turned around and completed my order, but really?! I know, I know. it's a ballpark. But not an excuse. Figured we better get food now while we were there, as I wasn't going to get in line again. Hot dogs and Skyline Mini Hot Dog - average at best ! We'll be back, because we love seeing our team at 'home'. But, Please, Please, Goodyear Stadium and Cincinnati Reds - reevaluate the food services at the Ballpark!!!!!
