| - Bad experience from start. I reserved 13 nights at this hotel in Jan, as I had just moved to Toronto. First of all the bellboy at the front did not help me with ANY of my 4 luggages (and additional bags from shopping I had int he past week) as I struggled to take them out of the cab. I do not exaggerate, but he told me to get the trolly myself and I load them myself too, while he literally just stood there and watched me drag the trolly inside without even opening the doors. Meanwhile I saw him open the door for another woman and carry her small bag... I suspect it was because she got out of a limo service, while I had a normal cab. So I complained to manager, all he said was sorry about that. Wow, thanks, that helps, while I was standing to the trolly packed to the gills with stuff which I had just dragged in myself looking like an idiot. Now the rooms, tiniest double room I have ever seen. Bland at best, lots of wear and tear, nothing special or memorable here folks, even for a 3 star hotel. There is also massive construction facing most rooms, which I doubt will end in the next couple of years, so forget peace and quite. All in all, too expensive for the quality and the kind of service you get. Haven't checked for bed bugs yet... But I will later today. If I find some, well that'd be just icing on the cake... oh and get this, it costs $14 dollars a day to get internet access in the suites. This is gouging and rip-off of the first degree. I have had FREE high speed internet access in all the hotels I ever visited in the past 10 years, and that includes 2 star hotels.
