I've been in Bloom a couple of times and have been blown away at the nice staff. They make you feel as if you are family there. They make their food and drinks with quality items that care about the world. Annemarie met us at the Caffeine Crawl event and explained all of the research that she does to pick ingredients for her food and drink. She picks food partners that think globally. Partners that think about deforestation and the orangutans. I love that! She offers vegan/gluten free items for most of her gluten filled counterparts. They served us these cute little pumpkin donuts and lattes. YUM! The little donuts had cinnamon/sugar sprinkle. So darn tasty! My latte had a little heart on it. She told us about their 'locally famous' southern biscuits (gluten free option avail too). I have to stop back to try those! One thing to note, there's only 2 plug ins in the dining room area. This is intentional to keep people off their electronics and to converse more with others. If you want to work, you may want to head to one of the other coffee shops nearby. If you want to hang out with friends/family, this is your place. They have boxed games handy too.
