This is one of my favorite spots to shop for hard-to-find items, local wines and fresh produce! My mother was recently looking for sauerkraut juice and plum preserves and she asked if I knew where she could get them. I told her to try Krieger's - she found what she was looking for and at a great price too!
My favorite part of the store is the vitamin room - Krieger's doesn't sell any vitamin or supplement that they don't believe in. The staff is very knowledgeable about the supplements and interested in helping customers.
They have a great selection of loose leaf teas, organic produce, juices, cosmetics, and even green household cleansers!
Kreiger's prices are a bit higher than other places on some items such as vitamins, however the prices on produce are pretty competitive.
One downside is the parking situation. I know Kreiger's was slated for changes to their parking lot due to a roadway project on Graham Road. How do I know this? Because I was constantly asked to sign a parking lot petition against the changes every time I shopped there a few years ago. These changes were never made and the parking lot is the worst ever! There is no buffer zone between the front parking spaces and Graham Road, and the flow through the front and side lots is terrible. Caution should be used when backing out of a parking space here!
