| - I've been here twice. The first time I went, I got a gel-polish manicure with french polish, and a basic pedicure with french polish. Two relatively basic things. The owners were friendly, and the environment was clean. I paid $60 plus $10 for the tip I believe. That is what I'd normally expect to pay for basic procedures like the ones I received. Mind you, this was with paying an upcharge for french paint because it does take a little longer and an upcharge for gel polish, which is what I had put on my hands.
Fast forward a couple of months. I went there a few days ago because of how pleased I was last time, and literally had the exact same procedures done. My bill was $80 without tip. The sets looked fine, in terms of quality, but that is WAY too much money for a basic mani pedi with gel polish on the hands and french paint on the feet. I wish I could say I'd be going back, but after that price hike, I'll find an affordable place to go. Should have kept the price at $60, as that is more reasonable. If I were actually getting a full gel set and gel polish on the toes, that would be more understandable. But this is just polish we are talking about and I've never in my life paid that much for it until now. It's too bad because I really didn't have any other complaints about the place. In terms of service, they were fine.
3 stars for the service. 2 docked for unreasonable prices.
