  • I absolutely LOVE taking my dog, Ramona, to the Barker Lounge. I take Ramona once a week so she can have a day to socialize with other dogs and run free. I also arranged for a neighbor to take her every day for a week when I had a beach vacation. It worked out beautifully. I have to say that days she is at Barker Lounge are the days I feel most relaxed at my job. I don't worry about her. The facility is very clean and well kept, the employees are all friendly and clearly love Ramona. The moment we pull into the parking lot, Ramona's tail begins to wag like crazy - she loves daycare here! She gets to romp around inside and outside - on warm days they have water for her to splash around in. When I pick her up at the end of the day she is exhausted and quite happy. I appreciate that the employees stand by clear ground rules for day care - I know these are in place to keep my dog (and all the dogs!) safe, happy and healthy. I feel I am kept well informed of any issues - good and bad- that have happened during Ramona's stay. It means a lot that the dogs are all well looked after every visit. Also - I never feel like she has a "dog smell" when I pick her up after a day of play - how do you guys do that? I am truly grateful for that!!! I would definitely recommend the Barker Lounge (and I have!) to dog owners.
