| - Made our reservation on line. When were given a register on line thru the Total Rewards program. I registered, and received Email, we were registered, and to go to the gold line upon arrival for room keys. We also received one telling us our room was ready. All before our we even left home for our 5:00 one hour flight. Our flight was delayed, so arriving at Harrahs at 9:30, we expected to get into our room.
When we got to there we were now in a line, with at least 75 others to get our keys. It took us 1 1/2 hrs to receive our keys. Were asked, manager stated, everyone called in sick, and they tried to get help to come in . The Manager did give us the the rate of $39/nt that I asked for at check in. The prices dropped the day we arrived.
The one thing I wanted to do was to sit around the pool and take a dip when needed. Well the large pool was in the shade, and the wade pool was really cold? The last day I went up to the pool, the sun was out but it was party time and no place to sit.
The room, although in need of fresh updating, was clean. So for the buck, it was a great place to stay. Just hope they have more staff at registration.
